The present owners of plots/houses in this layout are unable to transfer Katha from their previous owners due to the betterment issue. BBMP should immediately start collecting betterment charges from us and issue BBMP Katha. Without BBMP Katha we are unable to get housing loan and housing plan sanctioned.

VGCOWA is the Ownersʼ Welfare Association of Vakil Garden City, one of the premier layouts in South Bangalore. It is a very close knit community of families living in serene surroundings, which strives to maintain a unique identity of love of nature. The association was started to strengthen the community by gaining a unifying voice, ensure harmony of the occupants and to strike a fine balance between safety of the occupants and blending with locals, while trying to work on the principle of Integration of All and Álienation of None. We intend on growing as a community, at which people point to, with pride in future, for the right reasons.

VGCOWA is primarily responsible for the maintenance and development activities of the layout. The layout maintenance and security has been outsourced to Skylark Securities & Allied Services Pvt. Ltd. VGCOWA has also appointed sub-committees to assist and shadow roles of the managing committee members in areas like Security, Housekeeping, NOC (New construction homes), Finance, Cultural & Sports activities.
