Poor street lighting and lack of police night patrol

Posted in Radhakrishna Temple Ward by Amar

Hardly any street light lights up. Lot of women and children are put to inconvenience because of this.

Another important problem is drag racing and wheely riding. A group of rogues indulge in this in the residential areas, especially in Dollars Colony. Residents are afraid of letting children play outside their houses. All these youngsters on these bikes seem to be rowdy elements. There have been complaints of regular accidents. The police should take very strict action against these rogues, irrespective of their backgrounds.

The sweepers do not bother to clean properly. They should be made to do their work with more responsibility.

Police night patrol should be introduced.

Garbage being burnt..

Posted in Radhakrishna Temple Ward

Garbage is stacked at the end of 4th and 5th main in HIG colony (near the drain) and burnt instead of transporting it. Too much smoke and garbage strewn all over the place. HIG seems to be High in Garbage :(

Comments (Hide)

Garbage collectors in HIG colony are openly seeking bribe. If we do not yield, they refuse to clean the road and collect garbage. Dried leaves are left for a long time on the roads.

Lack of police security

Posted in Radhakrishna Temple Ward

There are no police beat at all in sanjay nagar police station limits. Those there dont even respond to call complaints. who should be blamed for this?

Lack of street lights - HIG colony

Posted in Radhakrishna Temple Ward

At night, the whole of HIG colony resembles a dark jungle. Highly unsafe for kids and women especially.
a) More number of street lamps are to be installed.
b) Currently installed street lamps must be regularly maintained. Most are not functioning now.

Poor quality of pavement work

Posted in Radhakrishna Temple Ward by Shekar

Recently pavements have been made in Venkatacharinagar. The quality of work done is very bad. The pavement slabs have been laid as per the whims and fancies of the contractor. Also there are no mesh provided for the storm water drain holes. Can the concerned authorities come and inspect teh pavements and take appropriate corrective measures? No bills should be passed without the approval of me. If I come to know it's passed, then I'll have to take up this matter with the lokayukta.

Regards,

Shekar
